Multiple Looks from the UGG Cardy Series!

Sometimes I just get bored with shoes. Maybe that’s why I love to peruse what’s new and exciting, or switch around shoes from my collection frequently. But getting shoes as frequently as I’d like can sometimes be a little cost-prohibitive, so I love it when a single shoe can provide a couple of different looks. That’s why I really love the Cardy series from UGG Australia.

How many ways do I love the Cardy? Let me count them….I love how soft the merino wool looks and feels. I love how if I feel like wearing an ankle boot, I can fold over the the top to create a cuff. I love how I can have a casual look by slouching down the top of the boot. I love how I can wear the boot all the way up to keep my legs warm. I adore the versatility of this boot!

Not only do the Cardys come in a variety of colors, you can even get them in two different styles: the Classic, and the Lattice. And as with all UGG boots, they are durable, have a cozy sheepskin sockliner that helps keep your feet warm and dry, and a flexible EVA outsole.

Sandals by UGG Australia – All the Comfort of Sheepskin, but for Warmer Weather

Did you know that one of our favorite boot companies, UGG Australia, makes sandals? They do! You can get sandals with all the outstanding qualities that you find in their boots, right down to a little bit of sheepskin for comfort and softness.

I happen to like gladiator-inspired sandals, and UGG Australia’s Sechura fits the bill! I love how the two straps around the ankle exhibit the gladiator style, and provide adjustable comfort. The soft leather upper feels great as it practically shouts out, “I’m stylish!”  You can even wash the suede insole. There’s great traction from the rubber outsole, so getting caught in the rain shouldn’t be a big deal!

If you love flip flops, check out the UGG Australia Deitra. Not only does it have a cork-wrapped ergonomic footbed with outstanding arch support, the straps are adorned with either gold or silver studs (depending on whether you have the brown or the black shoe). The sheepskin in the heel is incredibly cozy. What’s not to love?

Wedges are also really popular this year. The UGG Australia Lourdes has a beautiful, 3-inch wedge that’s sculpted and studded! The footbed feels luxurious due to the lambskin and sheepskin used, and the comfy leather upper is beautiful and interesting to look at. The Lourdes is easy to wear, easy on the eyes, and easy on your feet!

It’s Not Too Late for UGG Boots – Especially the Classic Mini!

I’ve been fascinated by the wide variety of boots offered by UGG Australia this year. It seems like there’s something for everyone. There are boots for snow, there are boots that are in a wide variety of colors, there are boots in different heights. The Bailey Button Triplet has been extremely popular this winter – and they look great with your pant legs tucked in. For those of us who aren’t wild about doing that, there’s the perfect boot for us: the Classic Mini Kimono.

With a 5” shaft, the Classic Mini Kimono is really an “ankle boot”. It fits just over your foot and your ankle, and provides all the cozy comfort of all of UGG’s styles. The soft foam insole is covered with sheepskin for a very cushy and warm feeling and wicks away moisture to keep your feet warm and dry. The EVA outsole helps provide traction in slick weather. But that’s not all; the top of the boot is etched with a pretty Kimono Flower design! I’m delighted that I can wear this boot with any of my slacks and have them look great. No worries about having to tuck anything in; these boots will work very well under anything but slacks that are very tight around the ankle. (Then you could tuck THOSE in!)

Holiday Gift Ideas!

The holiday season is upon us, and with that always brings a sense of anxiety. What do you get for people who seem to have everything they need? How can you make their holiday special, with something fun to open? ‘Tis the season to splurge and pamper those you love, so here are a few ideas to help you navigate this busy time of year.

UGG Boots: The ultimate gift of warmth and comfort for the wintertime. My daughter specifically requested a pair of the UGG Australia Bailey Button Triplets. Socks: These do not have to equate to the “lump of coal” in the stocking! There are some fabulous patterns and styles that are sure to please everyone on your holiday list. ‘Tis the Season for Waterproof Boots from UGG Australia!

I heard from two friends that their respective areas just got slammed with their first snowstorms of the season. Given that I’m thinking of visiting those areas this winter, it’s clear to me that I need some warm, waterproof boots. And wouldn’t you know it, UGG Australia has some fantastic choices for keeping my feet warm and DRY in the snow and slush!

The ultimate snow boot for women, the UGG Adirondack II gives you the cozy comfort you’d expect with any UGG product, and you can slog through the slush with it. The Grade-A Sheepskin lining keeps your feet warm and dry, and the removable sock liner wicks away moisture from your feet. The full-grain leather upper is completely waterproof, and the outsole is rugged and flexible and helps you have as much traction as possible. Available in sand leather, blackberry wine leather, and black/grey leather, this boot has a 7” shaft (calf-high) so you can definitely stay comfortable out in the sloppy weather.

Another option for women is the UGG Ashdale. It’s perfect for the rain, since it’s a shoe rather than a boot. Easy to slip on, the Ashdale upper is patent leather with a leather tongue. Your feet will be warm and dry due to the sheepskin sock liner that wicks away moisture. Be assured that you’ll have great traction and durability with this shoe. I can see myself wearing them when I do my holiday shopping!

Men don’t have to feel left out; UGG Australia has several models perfect for sloppy weather. The Butte makes walking through the snow a breeze, with its waterproof full grain leather upper and flexible yet durable Vibram outsole. The sheepskin lining and waterproof membrane keep your feet warm and dry. The boot shaft is 9”, but you can cuff it down to 7” depending on your mood and how high the snow is! It’s the perfect snow boot for men. Available in Worcester Leather and Black Leather, men have stylish choices in boots for mucky weather.

Another great option for men is the UGG Beacon. This style comes in both After Dark (black) Leather and Obsidian (brown) Leather. The twin-face sheepskin in the upper makes this rugged boot breathable as well as durable. The rubber outsole is especially tough in slick weather, and the 7” boot height keeps more than just your feet warm. Definitely a style to check out for inclement weather!

Warm and Cozy Slides from UGG Australia – the Gael and the Isabella!

Sometimes you just want to slide into a cozy shoe and just dash out the door. Sometimes you want a shoe that’s a little dressier than a typical sheepskin boot. Sometimes you just want a versatile sheepskin shoe that you can wear with a variety of outfits. Naturally, UGG Australia has a couple of options to choose from for exactly these purposes. Great sheepskin style is not just for boots; take a look at UGG’s Gael and Isabella.

The Gael is a wonderful slide that works with so many different types of outfits. It looks great with jeans, with skirts, with dressier pants outfits, etc. Being a slide, it’s easy to wear and the fact that it has UGG’s typical high-quality sheepskin lining only makes it more cozy and attractive. The molded rubber outsole and the suede covered Poron insole provide unparalleled comfort. The Isabella has been given top ratings by customers who are both “style driven” as well as “comfort driven.” Its 3-inch rubber heel and brass buckle detail make it a clog that you can wear with dressy outfits as well as casual. And warmth is never sacrificed with the curly sheepskin-lined insole. I could easily see myself wearing these with dressy slacks, or even a suit! And for those of us who are used to wearing heels all the time, these are particularly comfortable. Check them out in black or espresso leather.

UGG Classic Styles – New Colors for Fall!

The Classic Tall and Classic Short boots from UGG Australia have been very popular over the years, and this year UGG Australia has added some fabulous colors to the mix!

The usual beautiful colors of Black, Chocolate, and Chestnut are still available for the Classic Tall and continue to be very popular, and now there are some other great colors that are sure to please everyone!
