The UGG Bailey Button Mini: the Perfect UGG for ME!

I love UGG boots but I’ve always had some minor issues. The talls and the shorts don’t fit my calves properly, I can’t get the Bailey Button Triplet because my daughter has one of those (and heaven forbid we actually have the same style boot!), the Bailey Button has been an option, but now I have an even better choice for me: the UGG Bailey Button Mini!

What makes this boot perfect for me is that it’s just tall enough to keep my feet and ankles toasty warm. I tend to not wear pants tucked into boots, so having something taller is really unnecessary for me. I’m also really pleased that UGG Australia listened to its customers who had issues getting their feet into the Classic Mini boots; the seam around the top can make it a little challenging to get on and off. The Bailey Button Mini eliminates this issue; the boot is easy to get on and off because of the button closure and the side seam on the boot. It’s cute, stylish, and warm. What’s not to love?

As with all UGG boots, the Bailey Button Mini contains the highest quality twinface sheepskin available. This genuine sheepskin wicks away moisture and helps keep your feet warm and dry. They are durable, light and flexible, and contains an elastic closure with a wood button to keep the boot closed. Holiday Gift Ideas!

‘Tis the season for giving, and for great sales. I love online shopping; I avoid the crowds but I can still get great deals. I can sit around in my pajamas and order wonderful gifts for loved ones at 3 AM. Footwear etc. has some fabulous items that can make a lot of people on your holiday list very happy this season. Here’s a sampling of what I’m looking at this year:

Lots of products from UGG Australia. Last year I got my daughter the Bailey Button Triplet, and she’s been living in them ever since. They’re warm, soft, and durable. She loves the versatility of this boot, and wears it with both skirts as well as jeans or tights. It’s a great looking and feeling boot for the cold months.

This year I’d like a pair of the Classic Shorts for myself! Why should my kids get all the cozy comfort? I had a pair of knock-off UGGS a few years ago, and they really were not worth the money. The faux sheepskin on those boots got matted and scratchy over time, and I want authentic high quality sheepskin. You can’t beat that level of comfort. Hello, Santa?

A cute stocking stuffer is the UGG Classic Short Keychain! It’s available in Chestnut or Sand, and is absolutely adorable. It’s the perfect gift for your UGG boot aficionado.

My standard go-to gift for the UGG lovers in my life is the UGG Care Kit. It’s the ultimate way to protect those precious boots. There are a lot of fabulous handbags that make great gifts. I particularly like the Hobo International Carson (small shoulder bag) and the Esme (clutch). Available in a variety of colors, both are beautiful, versatile, and perfect for the holiday season.

Lastly, you can never go wrong getting socks. I love the crazy designs of the Hot Sox brand. I already own several of the designs, but my favorite has been the Cupcakes pattern.  If you or your gift recipient isn’t into patterns, there are a variety of socks in solid colors. I’m probably also going to get some of the socks specifically designed for Diabetics for those in my family who have this illness. The flat seams really make a difference in comfort for them!

UGG Bomber Jacket Series – Warmth and Historic Flight Jacket Style for Everyone!

Bomber jackets have been around since the early 20th century. They were originally created for pilots, and back then the cockpits weren’t enclosed! Imagine how cold those people got. The bomber jacket became really popular during World War II (my dad had one when he was stationed in England and he loved how warm it kept him). UGG Australia Sheepskin Care Kits for the Ultimate Protection of your Boots

Let’s face it, UGG boots are an investment. They’re an investment in style, quality, and warmth. They also aren’t cheap, so why not protect that investment? I want to make mine last as long as possible, so that’s why I’m so happy with the UGG Sheepskin Care Kit.

The last thing I want is for my nice boots to get stained and dirty. The Sheepskin Care Kit contains both a sheepskin brush with stain eraser, and a 4 oz. bottle of Sheepskin Cleaner. In Praise of the UGG Bailey Button!

Cooler weather has arrived, and I’ve been anxious to get a pair of boots. Unfortunately, sometimes boots don’t fit me around the ankle or the calf. Leave it to UGG Australia to have the perfect boot for those of us who have more of a challenging fit: the Bailey Button!

As Seen on “Oprah’s Favorite Things”: The UGG Classic Cardy!

I love seeing what Oprah comes up with for her list of her favorite things. Sometimes there are some really interesting items there that I wouldn’t necessarily have found otherwise. But one item on her list I’m already very familiar with, and I think just as highly of it as she does: the UGG Classic Cardy. It’s like a sheepskin cardigan sweater for your feet!

The versatility of this boot is fantastic. Your feet stay really warm and cozy because of the soft, sheepskin insole.  You can also get a variety of looks by changing what you do with the shaft of the boot. Want to wear it with skinny jeans or leggings? Button the boot all the way up! Want a casual look? Scrunch the shaft down a bit. Want to wear it under slacks? Fold the shaft down.  Your look can change with your mood, your wardrobe, or the weather!

This is also a nice boot for those of us with thicker calves. The heathered merino wool gives so that your legs don’t have to feel constricted. I also particularly love the way they look and feel when they are folded down. It really does seem like I’ve got a comfy sweater on my feet; just what I crave during the cold weather.

We’ve Got Bling!

Sometimes we’ve just got to engage our inner divas. I for one love to see a little bling and sparkle in my life from time to time. The folks at UGG Australia are smart enough to recognize this burning need in some of us, and as a result have come out with two perfect boots for this purpose: the Bailey Bling, and the Classic Short Sparkles!

As with all UGG boots, these two models contain the highest quality of sheepskin available. I love the fall. I love how the weather becomes cool and crisp, and the leaves on trees change color. That cool weather makes my feet cold, so I’m delighted to see the new arrivals from UGG Australia! Here are just a few of the new collection:

The Broome II is a fantastic rugged-looking boot with a molded rubber outsole. It’s durable, and provides great traction. The soft leather gives you a luxurious look and feel, and the zipper makes it easy to get on and off. Best of all, there’s a removable and replaceable sock liner that keeps your feet wicks away moisture and keeps your feet comfortable and dry. You can get serious mileage out of this boot!

Like booties? Check out the UGG Classic Mini. Available in chocolate, chestnut or black sheepskin, it has all of the features of the Classic series in a boot that’s shaft is about 5” high.
