Trending Now…Cork-Accented Shoes!

Like the look of cork? Footwear etc. has a bunch of new styles containing cork-styled accents. You can have the interesting look of cork on the upper of the shoe, on the straps, on the heels, and even on the outsole. Cork lends a casual yet classy look to any shoe, and here are a few new models that you’re sure to love!

The SoftWalk Women’s Bandito – this sandal contains SoftWalk’s famous eggcrate footbed, which gives you cushioned comfort with every step. The outsole, however, has a cork-wrapped design, and adds visual interest to the shoe. Love that casual comfort!

The Arcopedico Women’s Scala is a Mary Jane style that has a leather upper that looks like cork! This cute shoe has an anatomic footbed so that your feet can be supported all day long, and the instep strap lets you adjust the shoe for a custom fit. I also like the fact that the outsole is non-slip. I won’t worry so much if I get caught in the rain!

Helle Comfort has a gorgeous sandal called the Elske. This shoe has a patent leather and cork upper with rhinestone embellishments. This is an elegant sandal that you could wear with almost anything! It’s particularly nice since the microfiber-covered footbed is padded and gives great cushioning as well as arch support.

My go-to brand for whenever my feet need extra support, Orthaheel, has a cork-styled sandal in the Yasmin II. This is the perfect shoe for casual wear. The Tri-planar Motion Control footbed provides outstanding support, and I love the cork styling and button embellishments on the upper. It’s an unusual look and I love that it’s just not your everyday old sandal.
