How to Clean and Protect Your UGG® Boots

UGG® boots can really take a beating, but you don’t want them to LOOK like they’ve taken a beating.  The UGG® Care Kit is designed specifically for this purpose. Here’s how you should take care of your boots:

To protect your UGGs against stains and water, apply the UGG® Water and Stain Repellent prior to wearing. (Just spray it on the boot evenly just to get it wet but not soaking. Be sure to do this in a well-ventilated area.) Use the suede brush to brush the nap in one direction after the boot is dry.

If you need to clean and condition your UGG® Australia Sheepskin boots, use the UGG® Sheepskin Cleaner and Conditioner. To do this, just moisten the boot by hand with clean, cold water. In a small bowl, dilute the Cleaner and Conditioner with an equal amount of water. Rub this solution lightly onto the boot with a clean rag or sponge, then rinse the sponge and rinse the boot lightly with clean water. Do NOT scrub the boot; you could damage the surface. Stuff the boot with clean paper and let dry naturally OUT OF DIRECT HEAT OR SUNLIGHT for at least 24 hours. Once dry, use the suede brush to lightly brush the nap in one direction.

That’s all you have to do for the twinfaced sheepskin boots (like the Classics, the Bailey Buttons, and Bailey Bows). For all other UGG® boots (like specialty suede, embroidered, metallics, and other leathers), wipe the boot very gently with a slightly damp rag (do not use any cleaning product or brushes).

Protect your investment and keep your UGG® boots clean and maintained with the UGG® Care Kit.
