Beginning in October 2012 through October 2013, Alegria will donate a portion of the proceeds of sales of this shoe to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to aid their research and development efforts. Not only will those R&D efforts be supported, proceeds will also go toward helping to provide early detection tools and services to those in need.
Using its Perfect Fit Footbed System, the Alegria Paloma in Happy Pink provides support where it’s most needed via memory foam, latex and cork. The footbed is removable if you’d prefer to use your own orthotic. I particularly love the wide toe box (I HATE having my toes squished), and the fact that the Velcro strap helps this shoe fit a variety of widths of feet. With fantastic arch support and a mild rocker outsole, the Paloma is a wonderful shoe to help alleviate pain from Plantar Fasciitis, or even to just help you get through a long day on your feet. But best of all: the print is happy! Who wouldn’t love a bright pink shoe with happy words all over it? They’re great for comfort, great for morale, and great to help those fighting breast cancer.
