Thanks for having posted these suggestions.
I have severe pf from overexercising.
This is my first bout (I"m nearly 35, felt like I was 21 or something and running too many miles at once!) ...
I could hardly step into my car to go to the mall and get shoes, but out of desperation, i did it
I slid into a Dansko shoe...and it was miraculous, immediate relief! I almost slept in them. =) I even felt like walking across the mall and shopping after putting them on.
I tried the Birkenstocks, Born, Earh Shoes, Finns...but NOTHING did it like these.
I cannot rave enough about Danskos! I hope this helps someone who is struggling with as much pf as I have. And is looking for a shoe that doesn't scream 'grandma orthotics'.

Hi Stacy,

MBT is a brand of muscle-toning shoes that are becoming extremely popular among people with Plantar Fasciitis. Nurses, waitresses and others who spend a lot of time on their feet simply adore them.

If you have a second, take a look at the customer reviews and ratings on the MBT Kaya for example:

<a href="http://www.footwearetc.com/MBT/Womens-Kaya-Mary-Jane-Chocolate-Nubuck.html" title="MBT Kaya" rel="nofollow">http://www.footwearetc.com/MBT/Womens-Kaya-Mary-Jane-Chocolate-Nubuck.html</a>

I started with Z-Coils and got immediate relief. I wore them until my PF went away, then they weren't comfortable anymore so I went back to my regular Nike tennis shoes. When my PF came back a few months later, the Z-Coils didn't seem to help that time, so I had to try another type of shoe. MBT's were highly recommended by many people so I tried them, and haven't stopped wearing them. They're great...except for working in the yard. I'm surprised I haven't broken an ankle. I'm still looking for shoes I can wear for gardening without killing my feet or breaking an ankle. Regular inserts don't help...i've spend a fortune on them. Guess i'll be getting orthotics!

My MBT's decreased my pain from PF in the first day. After 2 weeks the pain had decreased at least 60%...it still hurts but isw improving daily. I also have done some stretching and heel drop exercises. They are amazing!
